Interested in being an intern with  Biodiversecity ?

Here are the instructions just recently received, dated Monday, March 1 2010 and received by us on Friday, March 5 2010 in the afternoon. It is the text of an email, with nothing changed to as to not lose any key information in the email.

(Note that this process is totally different from the process in 2009, which was tied together with the GEM course that was offered on campus.)

Right now, the internship is completely open; there is no one competing because we did not know until March 5th that this internship was even going to be open to us to offer. You have a level playing field. We hope you'll consider interning with us for this season!

John,
Sounds like the grant proposal got in just in the nick of time! The next thing
to do is to have your students complete applications. See the instructions below
for applying online. In the motivation statement section, they should indicate
that they are applying for a position at Central Rivers Farmshed.
To apply online, print out the following instructions (steps 1-10) for reference
as you complete the online application:
1. To apply, click on the following link:
https://my.americorps.gov/mp/recruit/registration.do
2. Create your profile.
3. An email will be sent to you to complete your online profile.
4. Click on the link in the email to create a user name and password.
5. Click on Applications on the left side of the page to complete your
online application.
6. Click on Search Listings on the left side of the page.
7. In the Program Name box, type in UW Oshkosh.
8. Choose any of the listings and click the Apply Now button.
9. Certify all of your information is correct and click Submit.
10. Check to be sure it has been submitted to UW Oshkosh AmeriCorps Connects
by clicking on “My Submissions” on the left side of your account.
Thanks!
Jenn
